Jeans Gone Green is Good people ~ Good things. It isn’t just a tag line either, it’s a mission statement. The denim we use is rescued from charitable thrift shops and we donate to their organizations for jeans that were not wearable or didn’t sell in their shops. After we collect the denim we are pleased to engage with Grand Traverse Industries whom provides employment for individuals with special needs and limited employment opportunities. They cut and prepare the denim before the artisans and seamstresses of Jeans Gone Green design the unique waistbands to be used on the super comfortable surf industry sandals. Swarovski Crystals add the sparkle to our sandals. Every pair comes with its own patented leg shoe bag. No shoe boxes for us! The bag is perfect for travel and the uses are endless. Some of our favorites include; wine bag, carry a tablet reader, or to take along a reusable water bottle. Currently we are based out of Traverse City in Northern Michigan and are pleased to design our product in the USA!
